Central Louisiana Medical Marijuana

We Believe Everyone Deserves Relief From Pain

Marijuana has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for various health conditions, including pain and stress. The plant contains compounds known as cannabinoids, which can interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) to produce a range of therapeutic effects.
=

Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)

One of the most well-known cannabinoids is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is responsible for the plant’s psychoactive effects. THC can also help to reduce pain by activating the CB1 receptors in the ECS, which are found in high concentrations in the brain and central nervous system.
=

Cannabidiol (CBD)

Another cannabinoid, cannabidiol (CBD), has been shown to have analgesic and anxiolytic effects, making it useful for treating pain and stress. CBD works by interacting with the body’s serotonin receptors, which are involved in regulating mood, anxiety, and stress.

If you are a candidate for therapeutic marijuana and would benefit from a dispensary referral, the consultation fee is $200, which is good for up to 12 months. Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

Where Can I Buy?

Therapeutic marijuana may be purchased at a marijuana dispensary. We highly recommend The Medicine Cabinet – central Louisiana’s only marijuana dispensary. Their staff are knowledgeable and helpful. And they sell various forms of therapeutic marijuana – flower, tinctures, topicals, edibles, vapes, and rosin. If you live outside of Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, Lasalle, Rapides, Vernon and Winn parishes, and you choose a different dispensary, let us know where to send your referral. Referrals are only good for dispensaries in the state of Louisiana.
